This is a brief account of my experience with Prudential's intranet. Like many large corporations, Prudential utilizes an intranet to keep employees informed, trained, and to serve as a repository for various content, data, and important documents. 

 

In 2016, during a brief lull in work, another designer and I were tasked with redesigning the layout of the intranet. Our goal was to incorporate visual elements from the design system and the new branding. What you see here is the first round of results from that effort. However, the intranet remained in its outdated form until 2019, when it was finally redesigned using SharePoint.
